Application Description

Mild Backgrounds 1 contains a large variety of fine photography and design images for Windows 10 and 11 personalization of background and lock screens. Three photography collections and two graphic design collections totaling 65 wallpaper subjects are included. Wallpaper image subjects are thrice application-integrated for a total of three variants of contrast mildness per wallpaper subject. In total, 195 wallpaper image files are encapsulated in the fabric of this application. With three variants of each wallpaper subject available, ample yet not excessive reductions of background image visual clash with foreground screen elements such as text, buttons, window frames, and content images, can be enjoyably and per-instance quickly and clearly optimized in wallpaper softness and unobtrusiveness to the user's liking. Selecting mildness is convenient via mildness presets which are quick to toggle, with immediate notice of effect via depictions in the application simulating desktop typical look and feel of results. The Adjustment Studio features desktop shortcut icon/tile simulations for user view, and lock screen date/time information simulation which can be toggled on or off in visibility, for visual assessment of desired overall look of standard screen elements in counterpoint with the variable mildness of user-selected wallpaper backing them. These features of the Adjustment Studio optimize for fine-tuning differences in color negative space contrast between foreground and background elements to be assessed readily, useful for more pleasantly viewing icons and other foreground screen elements via user setting mildness levels more as suited for the user's wallpaper inclinations: - ranging from [1] on-whim selections of more vivid versions of wallpaper subjects, at less mildness; to [2] more productive for durations of screen viewing selections of softer and more ergonomic wallpaper unobtrusiveness, at greater mildness. The latter approach, when selected, optimizes working application eye’s view and manipulation via mouse and keyboard as unfettered by visual clash this way, if medium to mildest mildness is selected, optimizing user work flow visually and mentally. Foreground screen elements are more readily recognized and worked with in cases of more mildness to wallpaper selections made by the user. Wallpaper original subject files were adjusted in favor of smooth lighting, mild shadow contrast, and mild highlights. The pleasant and soft-toned initial look of many of the background images in Mild Backgrounds 1 is intentional, though when assessing these wallpapers as topic images then they are less pronounced and are not stunning nor distracting. These wallpapers are designed to last on screen without irritation or excessive attention-pull to the subjects, for hours to days of usage, such that immediate stunning impact of the images has been intentionally muted and reduced. This is a planned feature of the wallpapers presented in this software application. Mild Backgrounds 1 allows selection of levels of mildness to each background or lock screen wallpaper, momentarily tailored to changing computer usage, changing mood, or whim.

Application - That which is New

The technique applied in adjusting original more vivid photography and designs, which the application developer applied to create the wallpaper content mildness levels, is manual effort and user-centric, and thus is open process and non-proprietary to Talon 38 FileMedia. As that is the case, descriptive tutorial textual process instructions are newly listed in this, version 3.0, of the Mild Wallpapers 1 application. Interested users can review the listed mildness leveling methods, to then apply such mildness sets of three levels creation method to some of his or her own favored photos and graphic designs on occasion, for user manual placement of user-favored personally selected images as Background or on Lock screen manually, via file explorer mouse and keyboard Alt menu ''Set as desktop background' or via Windows Settings. These instructions provide methods on file and folder storage bundling of mildness sets of images. Storage methods listed are to retain wallpaper collections as bundled together, and via noticeable folder titling, plus folder arrangement adjacent to other such mildness sets. These pointers result in the user’s wallpaper images, as personally collected sets of favored originals made into mildness sets, being more readily found and selected when later file exploring.
